Environmental Management & Design, Inc. (EMD) is a Florida-based, certified minority owned environmental consulting firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida since 1994. Collectively, EMD's staff provides over 75 years of professional environmental experience in the state of Florida.

EMD has a full range of environmental service capabilities and has conducted environmental studies for the Florida Department of Transportation, local transportation departments, Florida Highway Administration, Federal Aviation Authority, private developers, and mining companies. This experience includes field surveys utilizing agency approved methodologies; knowledge and preparation of applicable environmental permits; expert witness testimony; evaluating and documenting project impacts on the local environment; and government coordination. These services are accomplished through effective project management, quality control resources, highly qualified and experienced scientific staff, and maintaining a good rapport with all governmental agencies.
